Search engine optimisation

Reach the people on Google who are already looking for what you do

SEO isn’t a trick for fooling search engines. It’s the work that makes your site findable at the moment a customer has all but decided to buy. We fix the technical side, find the right keywords, and measure the result in enquiries – not just rankings.

  • A free initial review of where your site stands
  • Reporting that talks about enquiries and sales
  • No promises nobody could keep

We usually reply the same or the next working day.

Starting point

Does this describe your situation?

These are the most common reasons people call us about SEO.

  • “A competitor ranks above me on Google, even though our service is better.”
  • “We pay for every click on Google Ads. Nothing comes from organic.”
  • “Someone did SEO for us once. What exactly – nobody knows.”
  • “The site is beautiful, but Google doesn’t show it to anyone.”
  • “We have plenty of content, but it answers none of the questions people are actually searching for.”
  • “We saw a report where everything was green. Still no enquiries.”

The solution

What SEO work actually involves

Keyword research for the Estonian market

We find the searches with buying intent behind them – not just high volume. Ten of the right visitors are worth more than a thousand random ones.

Technical SEO

Speed, Core Web Vitals, indexing, sitemap, robots.txt, canonical URLs, broken links and redirect chains. The foundation, without which nothing else works.

On-page optimisation

Headings, meta descriptions, content structure and internal linking. We optimise in a way that keeps the text readable for humans – these days Google penalises mechanical content rather than rewarding it.

Image and media optimisation

File names, ALT text, WebP crops and lazy loading. Image search brings surprising amounts of niche traffic and directly affects page speed too.

Structured data

Schema.org markup for products, services, reviews and FAQs. It takes up more space in the results and lifts click-through even without moving your position.

Measurement and reporting

GA4 and Search Console set up properly, conversions tracked. The report shows how many enquiries came from organic – not just how many keywords moved up.

Process

How we start with SEO

Without an audit, SEO is guesswork. We always start from what you already have.

  1. Free initial review

We look over your site and a couple of competitors and tell you honestly whether SEO would help in your situation. Sometimes the right answer is “not right now”.

  2. Full audit

Technical health, content, keywords, competitors and link profile. The result is a concrete list, not an 80-page automated report.

  3. Priority plan

We rank the work by impact and effort. We start with whatever gives the fastest result for the least cost.

  4. Execution

We make the changes ourselves – we don’t send you a list and hope somebody else eventually acts on it.

  5. Measuring and adjusting

We track rankings, traffic and enquiries, and adjust the plan according to what actually starts working.

Testimonials

What our clients say

Long-standing partnerships say more than any slogan. Several of the clients below have been with us for over seven years.

We have worked with Birk for eight years now. This time we wanted a new website for the company, and the goals were set high from the very start – in visuals, functionality, manageability and SEO. Thanks to Birk’s professional approach we got a website of a high standard that met our expectations 100%. The collaboration went smoothly because Birk is a very good and direct communicator, helpful, dependable and conscientious.
Karina Riive Karina Riive LIGNAMETS OÜ, FARMLAND PURCHASING MANAGER
We ordered a feature-rich bespoke online store from Zezz. It was also important that it integrate with our accounting software. Zezz handled the task well and has been our day-to-day web development partner since 2018. Overall score 8/10 – there is always room to do better.
Aivo Kuldmeri Aivo Kuldmeri WESTBERG KAUBANDUS, MANAGING DIRECTOR
As a client you sometimes feel that you don’t know exactly how, and sometimes not even exactly what. But our collaboration has produced a website that our own people value and others try to copy. Thank you for the patience, the good ideas and the understanding. Thank you for visualising it and making it visible. I liked that Zezz keeps its word and stays flexible.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

If you can’t find your answer here, call or write – we’ll answer honestly, even when the answer isn’t “yes”.

How quickly does SEO produce results?

Technical fixes – speed, indexing, broken links – take effect within weeks. Meaningful movement in rankings usually takes 3–6 months, longer in a competitive niche. Anyone promising results in a month either doesn’t know what they’re talking about or isn’t telling the truth.

Do you guarantee first place on Google?

No. And we’d be wary of anyone who does – Google doesn’t sell positions and the algorithm changes constantly. What we guarantee is the substance of the work and transparent reporting: you see exactly what we did and what changed as a result.

What’s the difference between SEO and Google Ads?

Ads gives you traffic immediately and stops the moment you stop paying. SEO takes time, but the result persists and the cost per visitor falls over time. For most companies both together work best: Ads covers the gap while organic grows.

Is SEO a one-off job?

The technical clean-up is largely one-off. But content, keywords and competitors keep moving, so holding and growing your positions is ongoing work. In a smaller niche a few hours a month may be enough.

How much does SEO cost?

The hourly rate is 50 € + VAT. A one-off audit usually comes to 400–900 €, and ongoing work starts at a couple of hours a month. Before we begin, we tell you how many hours your goal realistically needs.

Can I do SEO myself?

Some of it – writing good content about your own field is something you do better than any agency. The technical side, keyword research and measurement are usually where help pays off. In the consultation we’ll tell you honestly what’s worth doing yourself and what isn’t.
