Small job

Website UX Analysis and Usability Review

You get a written, prioritised report on your website's navigation, mobile usability, forms and checkout path, with concrete recommendations that help visitors send enquiries or complete purchases.

  • Typical scope approx. 6 h
  • Roughly 300 € + VAT
  • Assessment and estimate are free

Your site gets visitors, but few enquiries or orders come in. Often the cause is not traffic. The menu does not lead to the right place, the form is too long, a button disappears on mobile, or the cart confuses people.

We review the site with an expert eye and give you a written report where the problems are ordered by importance, each with a concrete recommendation.

What the job includes

  • Navigation. We check the menu structure, page names and how quickly a new visitor finds what they are looking for.
  • Page structure. We look at headings, content order, calls to action and whether the key information is on the first screen.
  • Mobile usability. We test the site on a real phone screen: button size, text readability, menu and pop-ups.
  • Forms and enquiry path. We assess the number of fields, error messages, confirmation and where people abandon the form.
  • Checkout path. For a shop we walk through the product page, cart and checkout and find the places where an order can break down.
  • Speed and accessibility basics. A basic check of load speed, image sizes, contrast, alt texts and keyboard navigation.
  • Data. If you have Google Analytics, heatmaps or session recordings, we use them. If not, we work from expert judgement and suggest what to measure.
  • Written report. A prioritised list of recommendations: what to do now, what next and what can wait. On request we add a call to walk through the report.

What we need from you

  • The site address, who your main audience is and what the main goal of the site is (enquiry, purchase, booking).
  • Access to Google Analytics, and to a heatmap or session recording tool, if you have them.
  • Information about recent changes or known problems.
  • A test account or a way to place a test order if we are reviewing a shop checkout.

What is not included

  • Redesign. In this job we do not rework the site, we give recommendations. For implementation see web development.
  • Carrying out the recommendations. We can do that as a separate job if you want.
  • Setting up analytics. For that see GA4 and Tag Manager setup.

Who this is for

It suits businesses and online shops that have visitors but results below expectations, and those planning a redesign who want to know first what actually needs fixing. If the main problem is a slow site, start with speed optimisation.

approx. 6 h Typical scope
50 € Hourly rate + VAT
300 € Estimated total

This is an estimate, not a quote. We’ll review your site free of charge first and tell you the exact time required. If the job turns out smaller, you pay less – we bill for the time actually spent.

How this job works

  1. Send an enquiry

Send us your site address and a couple of sentences about the problem. We usually reply the same or the next working day.

  2. We review it and give you the price

The assessment is free. You’ll know the exact time and price before you decide on anything.

  3. We do the work and report back

We take a backup before making changes. When the work is done you get a summary of exactly what was done and what to keep an eye on going forward.

Frequently asked questions

What do I get at the end?

A written report with prioritised recommendations: what to fix now, what next and what can wait. We can add a call to walk through it.

Do I need Google Analytics or heatmaps?

No. If the data exists we use it. If not, we do an expert review and recommend what to measure going forward.

Will you redesign the site as well?

Not in this job. It is analysis and recommendations only. The fixes can be done as a separate job.

Does the review cover mobile?

Yes, we test the site separately on a phone screen, because mobile often has different problems from desktop.

How much does it cost and when is it ready?

We start with a free review and estimate, and bill the actual time spent. Work usually begins within 1–3 working days.
