Adding Products to a WooCommerce Shop

We enter your products into WooCommerce by hand or through a CSV/Excel import, with categories, images, attributes, variations and SEO titles, so the shop is ready to sell.

The shop is up, but the products are not in yet. There are dozens or thousands of them, the data sits in an Excel sheet, a supplier PDF or a website, and you have neither the time nor the patience to enter them one by one.

We do that work for you. The products arrive in the shop with the right categories, images, prices and stock levels and are ready to sell.

What the job includes

  • Manual entry. For a small number of products or complex products, we enter them directly in the WooCommerce admin.
  • CSV/Excel import. For larger volumes we clean and normalise the sheet and import it with the WooCommerce CSV importer, mapping custom columns where needed.
  • Variable products and attributes. We set up attributes (size, colour and so on) and variations, each with its own price, stock, SKU and image.
  • Categories. We build the category tree and place products in it logically.
  • Images. We upload images to the media library, give files sensible names and alt texts, and attach them to the products.
  • SEO titles. We add an SEO title and meta description to each product if you have an SEO plugin.
  • Stock and prices. We enter prices, sale prices and stock levels, plus weight and dimensions where needed.
  • Related products. We set up cross-sells and upsells.

What we need from you

  • Product data as Excel, CSV, PDF or a supplier website, as complete as possible (name, description, price, category, SKU).
  • Product images as a folder. If there are none, tell us where they can be sourced.
  • Access to the WooCommerce admin.
  • The category structure, or a request that we propose one.

This job is data entry, billed at €25 per hour + VAT. The time needed depends on the number of products and the quality of the data, so we do not quote a fixed price per product. The free review gives you an estimate.

What is not included

Who this is for

It fits new shops, adding a supplier catalogue and refreshing an existing shop. If products must be synchronised continuously with a stock system, that is an integration, not data entry. See for example Erply integration.

Frequently asked questions

How much does product entry cost?

Data entry is billed at €25 per hour + VAT. We do not give a fixed price per product, because speed depends on product count and data quality. The free review gives an estimate.

Can you import products from Excel?

Yes, we clean the sheet and import it with the WooCommerce CSV importer. For a small number of products or complex ones we enter them by hand.

Do you handle variable products?

Yes, we set up attributes and variations, each with its own price, stock and image.

Who writes the product descriptions?

We use your texts. Writing descriptions is not part of this job.

Does my product data need to be perfect?

No, but the cleaner the sheet, the faster the work. We bill the actual time spent and give a free estimate first.
