Small job

WordPress website for a small business: a complete site, fixed scope

We build your small business a complete WordPress website at a fixed scope: 5–8 pages, brand-matched design, contact form, SEO basics and analytics, plus a short handover training.

  • Typical scope approx. 30 h
  • Roughly 1 500 € + VAT
  • Assessment and estimate are free

A small business needs a website that looks trustworthy, works on a phone and brings in enquiries through the contact form. Usually the texts exist, or at least a clear idea of what to say, along with a logo and some photos; what is missing is someone to turn them into a proper site. A WordPress website at a fixed scope solves that: you know in advance which pages will be built and what they will contain.

The result is a 5–8 page WordPress site whose content you can edit yourself, which is set up correctly for search engines and which can later be extended with a blog, a shop or extra languages. The price box on this page covers the typical scope; e-shops, multilingual sites and custom features are estimated separately.

What the work includes

  • Structure and pages. We agree on 5–8 pages: home, services, about, contact, and a blog or news section. The purpose and content blocks of each page are fixed before design starts.
  • Design tailored to your brand. Either from an agreed Figma design or built directly in the WordPress builder from your logo, colours and typefaces. We choose the route together, depending on how much you want to invest in design up front.
  • Mobile first. Pages are built to work as well on a phone and tablet as on a desktop; we check the header, menu and forms separately on small screens.
  • Basic SEO setup. We install Rank Math, set page titles and meta descriptions, generate the XML sitemap and connect the site to Google Search Console.
  • Contact form and analytics. A working contact form whose messages reach your inbox, plus Google Analytics 4 with a cookie consent banner that loads analytics only after consent.
  • Content entry. We enter the texts and photos you supply, resize and compress the images for the web and add alt texts.
  • Speed and security basics. Caching, image optimisation, an SSL check, admin user and login protection, automatic backups and update settings.
  • Handover and training. A short session where we show you how to edit pages and posts and add images. Afterwards you can opt for a monthly maintenance plan.

Typical situations

A new company that has a logo and a description of its services but no website yet. A tradesperson or service provider whose only web presence is a Facebook page or a free site builder that does not show up in Google. A business whose old site was built years ago and nobody can edit it any more. And a company that has already ordered a site once but received a half-finished job with no form, analytics or mobile view. In situations like these we have built, for example, the websites of Carstop, Märjamaa music and art school and Nõmme Turg.

What we need from you

  • Your logo in vector format or the best quality image available, plus brand colours and typefaces if they exist.
  • Texts for each page, or at least raw material we can shape into copy; photos of the company, team or work.
  • Access to your domain and hosting, or a decision to order hosting through us.
  • One person who answers questions and approves the design and content within the agreed time.
  • A Google account to which we connect Analytics and Search Console.

What is not included

  • Copywriting from scratch and photography; we edit and place the content but do not create it for you.
  • An online shop: if you want to sell products, see building a WooCommerce shop.
  • A multilingual site: extra languages and translation plugin setup are a separate service.
  • Custom features such as booking, integrations with accounting software or a client portal; these are estimated separately, see web development.
  • Ongoing content creation, advertising campaigns and SEO content work after launch.

Who it suits

This suits a small business that needs a solid company website at a fixed scope and a predictable price, and wants to manage the content itself afterwards. If you already have a WordPress site that needs refreshing, updating an existing website is the better fit. If your design is already finished in Figma and you only need development, see Figma to WordPress.

approx. 30 h Typical scope
50 € Hourly rate + VAT
1 500 € Estimated total

This is an estimate, not a quote. We’ll review your site free of charge first and tell you the exact time required. If the job turns out smaller, you pay less – we bill for the time actually spent.

How this job works

  1. Send an enquiry

Send us your site address and a couple of sentences about the problem. We usually reply the same or the next working day.

  2. We review it and give you the price

The assessment is free. You’ll know the exact time and price before you decide on anything.

  3. We do the work and report back

We take a backup before making changes. When the work is done you get a summary of exactly what was done and what to keep an eye on going forward.

Frequently asked questions

Is the design made in Figma or directly in WordPress?

Both are possible. A Figma design suits you if you want to approve every view in detail before development; designing in the builder is faster and works well when your brand elements exist and you trust us with the layout. We decide together in the first conversation.

How long does building the website take?

Usually a few weeks from the moment we have your texts, photos and logo. The deadline depends most on how quickly the content reaches us and how fast the design is approved. We usually start within a few working days.

What does the website cost?

The price box on this page shows the scope of a typical 5–8 page site. We start with a free review and estimate where we clarify the pages and your wishes, and we bill by the actual time spent. An online shop, extra languages and custom features are estimated separately.

Can I edit the site myself afterwards?

Yes. The WordPress admin is set up so you can edit texts, images and posts yourself, and we run a short training session at handover. If you want more in-depth tuition, we offer separate WordPress training.

Who looks after the site after launch?

After handover you can choose a monthly maintenance plan that covers updates, backups and security checks. Without it, updates and backups remain your own responsibility.
