Ranna Surfiküla website and booking engine

Ranna Surfiküla is a surf and glamping village on the Kõrgessaare beach of Hiiumaa island: glamping tents, surf camps, corporate summer days, a beach café and a programme of summer events. We built them a custom-designed WordPress website on the Breakdance builder, in two languages, with an online booking engine whose calendar stays in sync with Booking.com and Airbnb.
Highlighted solutions
- Custom design: an airy, nature-inspired look where large photos and a video hero alternate with hand-drawn wave and sun illustrations and handwritten accents. Colours, typography and button styles are defined as Breakdance global styles, so every new page follows the same visual language.
- Breakdance builder: the whole site is built with Breakdance: a separate header and footer for each language, templates, photo galleries, tabs, videos and icon lists. The client edits texts, images and the events programme themselves without a developer.
- Booking engine at /broneeri: a four-step flow: dates and guests (number of tents, adults and children by age group), choice of accommodation from six glamping tents with photos, capacity and the price of the whole stay, contact details (optionally an invoice to a company with its registry code) and summary, with payment on arrival. Check-in and check-out times, minimum stay and closed periods are respected, availability is checked in real time, and extras are set up in the system as well (breakfast, sparkling wine, snack platter, rose petals, extra bed, baby cot).
- Booking.com and Airbnb sync: each tent’s calendar is linked two-way with Booking.com and Airbnb through iCal feeds. A booking made there blocks the dates on the website, and a website booking reaches the platforms, so double bookings cannot happen.
- Confirmations and reminders: the guest and the host receive an automatic e-mail for every booking, and the guest gets a reminder before arrival. Bookings, prices, extras, closed periods and coupon codes are managed in the WordPress admin.
- Two languages: Estonian and English with Polylang, including translated menus, header and footer, and the booking form.
- Content for the whole season: a summer events programme by month, presentation of the glamping and family tents, surfing, café and team-day pages, a large photo gallery and a contact page with directions. Images are served as WebP and fonts are loaded locally.
