ProSwim online store: design refresh, club pricing and stock integrations

ProSwim (Westberg Kaubandus OÜ) is the official Arena representative in Estonia and the Baltics, selling swimwear and equipment to hobby swimmers, competitive swimmers and swimming clubs. We have developed their WooCommerce store for years, and in October 2026 a completely new design went live: a cleaner, faster, mobile-first interface with all the existing shop logic, club pricing and stock integrations still running underneath.
Highlighted solutions
- Design refresh 2026: the new look was built as a separate child theme that replaces only templates, styles and front-end scripts, so pricing, club logic and stock sync stayed untouched. Design tokens, new typography, a megamenu with category imagery, a new homepage (hero slider, category tiles, Bestsellers / New / Campaign tabs, blog) and product cards with availability badges. CSS and JS are loaded only on the page type that needs them.
- Product pages: our own lightweight gallery (thumbnails, zoom, video slide) replaced a heavy gallery plugin. Size buttons show stock, “In Estonian stock” and “Delivery up to 7 days” badges separate local stock from supplier stock, a delivery estimate (“Order today, arrives …”), size tables, an Arena race suit guide and a sticky buy bar on mobile.
- Member and club pricing: registered customers see the −15% member price on Arena products everywhere: product card, product page, cart and checkout. Dozens of swimming clubs have their own club prices that work coupon-based and stay correct under page caching. Resellers get a separate wholesale area with their own prices, an order table and invoice payment.
- Catalogue and filters: over a thousand products and thousands of variations, AJAX filters (category, size, brand, model, price) with product counts, “Load more” browsing without pagination, search by variation SKU, and a wishlist that lives in a cookie for guests and in the account for customers.
- Side cart and checkout: a custom side cart module with a free-shipping progress bar, recommendations and a member-savings line. A one-page Estonian checkout: parcel lockers (Omniva, DPD, Smartpost), courier and store pickup, Montonio bank links and cards, Inbank and ESTO instalments, company or club invoice, and gift cards.
- Stock and supplier integrations: a nightly sync with the ERP warehouse software (local stock, EAN codes, order export), the Pealadu supplier feed (import of thousands of products, images and videos, stock every four hours) and two stock sources merged automatically into one WooCommerce stock level. Supplier categories are mapped to WooCommerce categories with AI, and staff can add missing products with one click.
- Fulfilment and marketing: Fulfilly / Ongoing WMS integration (parcel locker data via the REST API, tracking code in the customer e-mail), Mailchimp, Facebook catalogue, Google product feed and GTM tracking.
- Safeguards: zero-price products cannot be bought, price ranges are calculated only from in-stock variations, EAN codes are filled in automatically so no order fails to reach the warehouse system, and all mail goes through logged SMTP.
- Speed and languages: page caching with a Redis object cache, WebP images and targeted scripts. Every interface string is translatable, and English, Latvian and Lithuanian are prepared.
